SYNOPSIS
Although already achieved popularity does not mean education was no use. That's the thought of David Seville (Jason Lee) who sent Alvin (Justin Long) and two friends to a school to re-learn, something that never crossed the mind of Alvin.
With a heavy heart to Alvin, Simon (Matthew Gray Gubler as), and Theodore (Jesse McCartney) obey the will of David although actually they are not interested in returning to school. In a short time both his friend Alvin and feel alienated in the middle of the human that is in the school and it is heavy punishment for third chipmunk.
At the same time, Ian Hawke (David Cross) which failed to get Alvin and the Chipmunks attempt to make up for this by finding a group defeat the beast that is able to sing and dance like Alvin and his friends. Search Ian ended when he finds The Chipettes of Brittany (Anna Faris, Jeanette (Christina Applegate), and Eleanor (Amy Poehler). Ian plans to bring The Chipettes to fame like Alvin and the two friends.
