SYNOPSIS
With the background of the situation in the public high school in San Fernando Valley, the story is about a girl who is not popular named Sam Montgomery (played by Hilary Duff), who lives with his stepmother and sister of his brother-in-law, after the death of her father. The stepmother, who formerly worked as waiters, telling Sam to do all the grunt work at home. At school, Sam has a few friends, but he did not get along with the star of the school, namely Shelby Cummings, who comes from a rich family.
